LEGALITY OF CHRISTMAS BOXES. Speaking generally, Christmas boxes are given without any intention to tempt a servant to violate any duty which he owes to his employer or anyone else, br to reward him for any violation of such duty, and the employer knows quite well that his servants are receiving these glfts from the people with w'hom lie has business relations. It seems absurd in these circumstances to suggest that to give or take a Christmas box is an offence within-the Prevention of Corruption Law.--"Law Journal."
