Georoe Bampton, of Alberton, carter, was charged by Andrew Smith with rescuing a horse seized for the purpose ° Mr^Parker11^ informant, and Mr. Dempster for defendant. Bosanna Jtonnan was charged with assaulting Joseph Beal on the 17th instant, and breaking six panes of glass in hiB windows The evidence sustained the oharge, defendant was fined £5. and 10a. damages, and 10s. for medical attendance. John Luctzens, cabin-boy of the Iserbrook, pleaded guilty t» being absent without leave. Committed to gaol for four weeks.
