SGOSSIP. A PRETTY DRESS.

Voile is as popular .at e er.'" It is a charming summer materialh The sketch shows a dress of brown voile, with a circular yoke of guipure lace, with two rows of ganging. The sleeves ,have a gauntlet of guipure, the skirt has also two rows of gauging. The sleeves have a gauntwide belt which fastens with a buckle. Brown is a fashionable color, "tabac" and "e?ilh" brown being new shades. The newest linens show many shades of grey, some with black and grey check trimming. This combinatlon is a very trying color for most people. It seems to me that there are hardly enough perfect complexions in Victoria to suit all those grey linens. Broad tucks are being used upon skirts for materials which do not gather well. They are arranged in trees, at the foot of a skirt,-and again just below the knees.
