Dec. 17.--The ship Lang, Captain Lusk, 357. tons, from Portsmouth 23rd August, Madeira 8th September, with a general cargo of goods for this Colony, consisting of 250 hhds. porter, 84, hhds. ale; 115 casks bottled     beer, 12 puncheons brandy, 10 puncheons Geneva, 4 puncheons and 50 hhds. rum, 4 hhds, wine, 30 coils of rope, 61 trusses sail cloth, 30 bundles resin, 5 puncheons palm oil, with numberous bales and packages for

private individuals; besides other goods for Sydney. Passengers - Mrs Laughton, Mr. John Laughton, Mr. Thomas Laughton, Mr.

Henry Bilton, Mrs Bilton, Miss S. Rickett, Mrs Orpin, Mrs. Elizabeth Orpin, Misses Alisja, Maria and Ann Orpin, Mr. Samuel Orpin, Mr. John Orpin, Mr. John Campbell, Mr. David Campbell, Mr. Francis Watkins, Mr. George Hunt, and 3 others.

Last night, the Philip Dundas, 31 days from Sydney, with a sergeant and about 12 men,.si>«* sheep, cows, stores, and plants for Melville Island, put in from stress of weather.

A signal was made at sun-set for a vessel from the South.
