PORT OF LAUNCESTON.

ARRIVED.—March 26—Queen of the Isles, schooner, from Melbourne; Maid of the Valley, from Geelong; Dobsons, schooner, from Mel-bourne. 27—Raleigh, barque, from London ; Ariel, schooner, from Melbourne.

SAILED.~March 24-Hargraves, for Mel-bourne. . 28-Brothers, for Hobart Town ; Helen- Stewart, for Mauritius ; Zone for Sydney ; Lady Bird for Melbourne.

The Whirlwind was to sail from Plymouth on 10th January for this port, those of the emi-

grants who were not sufficiently recovered from the attack of fever remaining behind.

The barque Raleigh sailed from Southampton on 12th December, and has made the passage in about 100 days. She spoke the following ves-

sels : -Lesmahange, for Amsterdam ; John

Beals, from Aricato Liverpool ; Siam, from Bos-ton for Pinang ; Wiedemann, from Hamburgh to Melbourne; the latter vessel arrived at her des-

tination on 19th inst.

The arrival of the Commodore Perry and the Whirlwind may he hourly expected.

The Cobre towed the barque Fingal to sea on

Sunday last.

The schooners Beacon and Hargraves cleared the heads yesterday.-Launceston Examiner.
