J. WILLIAMS,

(FROM BROADWOOD's,)

IN publishing a List of Prices of his Colonial

Manufactured Pianofortes, which may be had on application, respectfully begs to submit a few leading points to the consideration of Purchasers of Instruments, and the Public generally.

These Instruments are not got up for cheap-ness, but to supersede the necessity of importa-tion, as Pianofortes can be bought (handsome ones, too) in London at any price, with any maker's name upon them, to order, and sent

out for sale.

The Colonial Pianofortes are exact copies of Broadwood's latest improvements, and are ma-nufactured from imported material (therefore seasoned;) all have the metal string-plates, and are offered at 10 per cent, less than the price at their warehouse in London, amounting, with freight, insurance, and other incidental charges, to 20 per cent.

They are kept in tune twelve months free of expense, in any part of the Island ; are ex-changed at the end of six months for others, if not approved, or at any time after six mouths, on payment of the hire and all expenses of car-riage, &c., &c.

From arrangements made in London, J. W. can procure the best of workmanship in keys, and all the other essential parts sent in sets to

his order.

References can be given to gentlemen who have purchased these in Hobart Town, and various parts of the Island.

It is well known to the trade in London that the colonies, to the large manufacturers of pianofortes, are a convenient outlet for their instruments which have been hired out and be-come second hand by usage ; these are scraped over, re-polished, and generally sent out as new by the shippers.
