EPPING.

SCHOOL OF ARTS EXTENSION.

Owing to an informality in the election of trustees for the School of Arts, the positions were declared vacant at the an-nual meeting, and a fresh election is to take place. The plans for the extension of the School of Arts and for the addi-tion of a second storey over the front of the building have been accepted, and the,

work of construction is to be proceeded with. The plans, which were prepared by Mr. L. L. Ramsay, provide for extending the front of the building to within five feet of the building line, which will pro-vide considerable extra accommodation in the library and reading rooms. A large lodge room is to be built over these rooms.
