Epping.

SCHOOL OF ARTS.— The plans of the proposed School of Arts building for Ep-ping are in the hands of Mr. L. L. Ram-say, and will be submitted next week to the committee. Three different designs have been prepared, and it will be for the committee to select one, and to decide upon the bast means of raising funds for the erection of the building.

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. — The annual meeting in connection with the Epping Presbyterian Church was held on Wednesday night, Mr. John Kirkland of Burwood, being in the chair. The com-mittee's report was of a very satisfactory character. The treasurer's report show-ed a satisfactory increase in revenue. The Sunday-school had shown a material increase in the attendance, and good results generally had followed the efforts of the teachers. BACK AGAIN.— Mr. M. F. Vollmer, of Vollmer and Vessey, has just returned to his home in Epping after a twelve months trip to Germany, Switzerland, England, etc. He enjoyed the tour very much, and has greatly benefited by it, looking about ten years younger than he did when he left. THE GOVERNOR.— Arrangements are being made for the holding of a great fete in aid of the funds of St. Alban's C.E. towards the end of April. His Ex-cellency the State Governor, Sir Harry Rawson, has intimated his willingness to officially open the function, so it will be a red-letter day for Epping.
