BON MARCHE ARCADE

Sale Now Completed

Negotiations which commenced last week for the sale of the Bon Marche Arcade in Barrack-street, Perth, have now been completed.

Through the agency of E. J. O'Dea and J. Symonds, Mrs. M'Auliffe has sold the property to M. Mazo, confectioner of Hay-street, opposite His Majesty's Theatre, for about £40,500. The Arcade buildings are three storeys high and used to be called Brookman's Buildings. There is a 46ft. frontage to Barrack-street and the right-of-way belongs to the property which has been sold. At the present time the Bon Marche Company has a lease over the ground floor, which has several years to run. About five years ago Mrs. M'Auliffe purchased the property from the Bon Marche for approximately £20,000.
