EMILIE POLINI'S WILL

Daughter Gets Money OWEN NARES PLEASED

'(Special to 'The Daily News.')

LONDON, October 8.

'I am glad Patricia gets the money,' says Owen Nares, actor, commenting on Mr. Justice Innes' judgment in the Syd-ney Court invalidating Emilis Polini's will.

He adds: 'Patricia ought to have the money even if she is unable to come to England and live with us as her mother wished. We should love to bring her up as a daughter, but she is in good hands with her Australian grandparents. We have not seen her, but judging by the photographs she is a darling. I am perfectly happy that my boys do not get their aunt's money, for it might have done them more harm than good anyway.' Owen Nares states that his lawyer unhesitatingly expressed the opinion that the will could not hold water. This all recalls the indignation widespread in Australia when the judge was reluctantly compelled to refuse Emilie permission to bring the child to England against the father's wishes. When Emilie came she stayed with the Nares family. (Owen Nares married Marie Polini, a sister of Emilie Polini )
