MELBOURNE, Thurs: Camberwell Football Club has made an official protest following the result of their match with Brunswick last Saturday. Reports of the match said that Brunswick captain Ivor Mclvor kicked a goal 15sec. after the final bell, which had not been heard by the field umpire.

This made Brunswick's score 10.14 (74) and gave them a five points win. The Camberwell protest has been received by VFA secretary H. N. Snook, who said that the matter would be investigated by the executive committee next Tuesday night. Some officials consider the protest will fail, as the rules state that play shall cease when the field umpire signifies that he has heard the bell. I
