HEAT WAVE ABATED. CHICAGO, June 9.

The death toll during the ten days' spell of intense heat stood above the 500 mark on Monday night, with Philadelphia and New York' the heaviest sufferers. An official record in Philadelphia places the heat toll at 126 lives. The weather is now abating to normal June conditions. — Reu-ter. ?
