MILLY MILLY STATION

Offer Reputed Refused

It is reported that during the week the Mulcahy family, owners of Milly Milly Station, refused a net cash offer of £45,000 for the property. Last year a well-known pastoralist offered £80,000 for this property, £40,000 cash and the balance for a period of years at 7 per cent. It is understood that the leading station companies in the city advised the vendors strongly against accepting the last offer, contending that in a couple of years the station will bring fully £80,000 or more.
