New Theatre Wins Public Approval

Beauty and comfort of the new Hoyts Fremantle Theatre was greatly admired by the large audience which attended the official opening last night.

The latest in streamlined theatres, Hoyts Fremanle has a floating screen, powder bar and a host of novel and attractive features.CRYING CRYING ROOM A notable innovation is a 'crying room,' where mothers may see and hear the programme without their children distracting other patrons. The 'crying room' was christened last night, when mothers of two restless infants watched the films until their charges cried themselves to sleep. The opening ceremony was performed by the acting Mayor of Fremantle (Cr. J. Stevens) who was introduced by the chairman of directors of Hoyts Fremantle, Ltd., Mr. S. W. Perry, O.B.E. The programme comprised 'Love on a Budget' and Walt Disney's technicolor feature, 'Snow White ana the Seven Dwarfs.'
