EDWARD WrtlGBT,

Managing Dhector. REPORT.

-To those acquainted with Wallaroo tho situation of tho mineral claims of tho Association can be submitted with confidence ; to those unacquainted with tho locality, Section 40S is considered valuable, as, mart fi-om other considerations, likely tohavo the Iode3 from Smith and Taylor's shafts on Section 152A. Copper ure is expected to be raised in a very short tinio from Section 410, while 409, on the same parallel as the NewCornwall lode from tho Wandilta, will have tho ludo from the Bingo. No plan is attached to this Pros-pectus, as Mr. Macgeorgo's maps aro bv* thÍ3 tima in

extensive circulation.

(Copy.)

Weymouth-street, loth March, ISiil. Mr. Edward Wright, Gresham-strect.

Dear Sir-Having recently visited the Wallaroo Mines, and examined a great many of tho minor.il claims taken there, amongst those 1 particularlj' ex-amined were Sections Nos. 40S, 409, 410, and 4jti, which are known as belonging to j-ou ; and, at your re-quest, I beg to hand j-ou the following report :

Section 408. Tho surface appearances aro very gool. I perceived a great quar«; icy of natural broken spar and ironstones, which Jitorally spread over nearlj' the whole Section. Those surface indications would not occur had there not been many large parallel lod.»s passing through it. I consider this Section very valuable fo«mining operations.

Section 409. A much greater depth of aibivial soil being on its surface than the before-mentioned Section, consequently tho mineral indications arc not so visible ; but tho adjoining Sections to tho west convince me that several lodes wiilbo found on this Section.

Section 410. The mineral appearances of this Section are very promising, having quantities of broken spar and ironstone on tho surface, similar to Section -103. Í observe Mr. Groasc's party at work on a very large lodo, only about one chain from the eastern boundary line of this Section. This lode is composed of spar with iron and gossan, and promises to make oro im mediately, and is running directly into Section 410.

Section 450. The indications at surface similar lo Feetion 40S. Quantities of spar and ironstones showiiii ufc surface, these being true indications of lodes passing very shallow from surface, which can bo found with little expense if properly searched for.

In conclusion, I must congratulate you in luV.ing mineral Sections in so favorable a position.

I am, Sir,

Yours obediently,

WM. LEAN.

This report has been perused by Mr. W. B. Dawes, of the Kanmantoo Miues, and its contents approved of as correct. Tho mineral claims have been spoken well of by Air. B. T. Finniss (of tlie Finniss Claims), Mr. Varcoe (of the Lipson's Cove Mines), and others;

For shares apply to Mr. T. E. Bury, No. 21, King William-street ; and to the Managing Director, Greshamstrcet, opposite the National Bank, betweon the hours of noon and 2 p.m.
