Dealers at a Nungarin army disposal sale today bought 4500 hurricane lamps. Most of them will be brought to Perth for use in any future power blackouts.

rne lamps ieicnea irom -i./ to 7/6 each. Dealers made up most of the attendance today — the second day of the sale. Most farmers were out seeding after the recent rains. Spirited bidding is expected tomorrow for motor transport spare parts, when seven interstate buyers will enter the field. Among the items listed for sale are two farm houses, now abandoned, which were taken over by the Army early in the war. They will be sold as they stand.

The purchaser will have to remove them.
