I MONEY FOR WAR FUNDS I

A contribution of £1,000 from the Ford Motor Company to the Geelong and District War Funds Board makes the total amount promised to the board £39,828, of which £34,622 has been paid in.

INJURED IN FALL

Falling from a bicycle yesterday. Nancy Malley, 20, of Fenwick st Geelong, suffered a fractured nose and concussion.

FORMER FOOTBALLER'S DEATH

Mr. Denis Heagney, of Fyans st.. Chilwell, died yesterday. For some years he was a playing member of the Geelong Football Club. He was the Shop Assistants' Union representative on the Trades Hall Council.

BLOCK DELIVERY OF MILK

Geelong Retail Dairymen's Association has almost completed the plan for the block delivery of milk, which will be brought into operation early in April. The district has been zoned into 41 areas.
