KALGOORLIE, Wed. — Five Trans train passengers were last night flown to Kalgoorlie from the flood-stranded train at Zanthus in the Nullarbor Fiain. The plane, belonging to Goldiields Airways Ltd., is expected to fly to Zanthus again today to bring in more passengers who cannot wait for the train to continue its 130-mile journey to

Kalgoorlie. It is not yet known when the train will be able to leave Zanthus. Although repair gangs have repaired a big washaway about four miles from Kalgoorlie they are now working on another big washaway 23 miles farther on. About 50 men are working there. . A railways spokesman said that there were no complaints from passengers, who had organised entertainment at Zanthus. The Kalgoorlie express which has been stranded by washaways at Bulla Bulling sinoe Sunday will today be returned empty to Southern Cross. Its engine will push the carriages several miles back over undamaged lines to the next rail section, will then pull them to Southern Cross. Motor trucks today were carrying the perishable goods on to Kalgoorlie.
