Crawford and Miss Akhurst Win Semi-Final ENGLISH WOMEN SUCCEED IN DOUBLES

The singles final at Wimbledon between 'Lacoste and Cochet, won by the former in four sets, is described as a tame affair, Cochet evidently reserving himself for the final of the doubles. Crawford and Miss Akhurst won the deciding set from Cochet and Miss Bennett, thereby entering the final of the mixed doubles, in which they will meet Spence and - Miss Ryan, conquerors of the holders. Misses Boyd and Akhurst failed to reach the final of the women's doubles, after a good start against the English pair. '
