STORM IN CORRIGIN DISTRICT

Extensive Damage Done CORRIGIN, Friday/

There was a storm in the Corrigin district yesterday afternoon, with severe wind, hail and rain. No damage Was done to the town. Fifty-six points of rain fell in a few minutes. Extensive damage was done throughout the district. Out at George Rock

and Bilbarin many farmers' houses and buildings were destroyed. The damages are estimated at several thousands of pounds and are not covered by insurance. Bilbarin *iall was blown down, wheat stacks unroofed, 1 bags burst. The Westralian Farmers' wheat 6hed was unroofed and damaged, and the railway buildings were particularly damaged. Steel telephone poles were broken Off and many miles of telephone lines are down. Trees are over the roads iri many places.
