Japanese Lost In

Blizzard

TOKYO, January 10 (AAP-Reuter).—The Japanese coast-guards today had three patrol vessels and two helicopters searching the blizzard-swept northern seas for 58 fishermen missing since week-end storms engulfed fishing fleets off the frozen northern island of Hok-kaido.

The coastguard said that two men were known to be dead, one boat known to be sunk, 31 others damaged, and three missing. There was little hope for the missing men in the icy ocean.
