Temporary Repairs Done f ' '$? EXPECT TRAIN TO-MORROW

While no definite v;ord was received at the Railway Department this afternoon ' concerning the temporary repairs which have been effected at the washaway on the Meekatharra railway line between ; Mullewa and Yalgoo, it is expected that a passenger train and mails will arrive In Perth to-morrow at 7.30 p.m. Heavy rains on Sunday were responsible for wrecking a portion of the line

between Mullewa and Yalgoo at a point about 117 miles from Geraldton. Since then the. line was closed to vehicular traffic. Mr. P. W. Millbank (Acting DeputyDirector of Posts and Telegraphs) said to: day that he expected the mails would arijrive r.t the G.P.O..
