Cronin Made Life. Member

D. J. (Mick) Cronin, former captain and coach of East Perth League football club, was elected a life member of that club at the annual general meeting on Monday night.

One of the most brilliant players this State has' produced, Cronin has been outstanding for East Perth over a long- period and coached the side last year. He represented Western Australia in several interstate matches and in 1937 won the Tassie Medal for the fairest and best player of the carnival matches in Perth. East Perth trophies for last season were won by M. O'Loughlin (fairest and best), Ray Starr (back play),. J. Clayton (centre play), K. Drake (wing play), H. G. Screaigh (most determined player) and J. Campbell (most consistent). ? _ \r
