BRUNETTE DOWNS

CATTLE

The tracking of the first of the big herds of Brunette Downs cattle at Mt. Isa will commence on Saturday. More than 6,000 cattle are to be transported to agistment in the Blackall-Longreach country.

The Brunette Downs herd has been walking from the drought-stricken Northern Territory for several weeks. The going is over dry country, and they are being travelled slowly.

It will be the end of August, before the last of them are tracked. ————————————————-
