The " Chillagoe Proprietary Limited" has been registered in the Supreme Court. The capital is j£96»000. The objects' of llie company are stated to be to acquire all properties and interests from Mcsnre. Chapmau, Reid, and Moffatt, the members of the syndicate recently authorised by Parliament to coo> struct a railway to Chillagoe. Among the registered shareholders in the uow company are Messrs. M. D McEacliarn (of Melbourne) and Reid aud Chapman.

The New South Wales Junior cricketers, who are to play a team of Queensland juniors during the holidays, were welcomed to Bris* bane by the Mayor to day. The Mayor's expressions of goodwill were reciprocated by Mr. ^peering, maoager of the visiting team.

Another fire occurred at Charleville last night, when a house owned by T. Donovan was destroyed. The building was insured for £160 in the New Zealand Company.
