Stock Movements

Meekatharra, September 23

On Wednesday last 564 cattle overlanded from Fraser Downs station, in the Broome district, by Drover Dean, were railed away by special train to Mullewa, where they will be detrucked and overlanded to Mingenew. Mr. Dean lifted 1,100 but split the mob, the balance now being about 70 miles from Meekatharra.

These will be trucked on or about October 6. The trip occupied four months. On September 28, 600 head of cattle from Streeter and Male's property will be trucked for Midland Junction. Advice has been received that Three Rivers station will truck 1,200 sheep and 105 head of cattle on September 27
