GASCOYNE
NINGALOO
Shearing at Ningaloo was com
menced on November 9 with a full team of six shearers under Mr. W. F. Baker, and finished' on the 29th. Nine thousand went over the board for a yield of 213 bales which is a record clip for the sta tion. Shearing was very satisfac tory, there being no hitch or stop page of any kind.
A modern shed and shearers' quarters were erected earlier in the year, and machines installed, thus putting another shed in the run for a proportion of the Minilya
Carbabia team.
The schooner Geraldton arrived on the afternoon of the cut-out to lift wool from the station.
During the month an outbreak of fire took place on Ningaloo, but was got under control after a night's fight, and only small dam age was done.
