MR JULIUS BROCKMAN

DEATH IN GERALDTON

A telegram received in Carnarvon from Mr. M. Grant on Thursday stat ed that Mr. Julius Brockman passed away in Geraldton at 5 o'clock that morning.

The late Mr. Brockman was a wellknown Nor'-West identity, being one of the earliest pioneers of the Kimber-leys, and a stationholder in the Roe bourne district in the early days. Some twenty-eight years ago he took over Minilya station from his brother, and alter 16 years' occupancy sold out to the present holder, Mr. D. N. MacLeod. Since then, Mr. Brockman has travelled extensively, and has lately, held an old Guildford property. Recently he made a presentation to the
