We're all too busy with the Games

IS FORGOTTEN

CHRISTMAS, ONLY a month away, has been forgotten in the whirl and excitement of the Olympic Games, BUT ..._

lueiDüurne can expect

its most frenzied shopping spree when the Games end.

All the customary Christmas preparations for children have been made in leading city and suburban stores, but so far relatively few children have seen Father Christmas and the special attractions in the shops.

Mr. W. D. M. Johnson, Retail Traders Association director, said yesterday:

"Most children want to see Father Christmas, and this will create problems for parents unless they use what little time is left to their advantage.

"Christmas is a time for children and they MUST not

be disappointed."_
