"A.B.C. TALK CENSORED"

CANBERRA, Thursday: Dr. Evatt, Opposition leader, told Parliament tonight that an un-named A.B.C. com-mentator today had his talk on the Suez crisis censored.

As a result the commenta-tor had refused to broadcast.

Dr. Evatt refused to reveal

the commentator's name.

BUT:

Yesterday the A.B.C. an-nounced that Mr. Rohan Rivett would give today's commentary.

At 1.15 p.m., when the commentary was clue, the A.B.C. played music, includ-ing "Rule, Britannia."

After the music an A.B.C. announcer said the com-mentary had been cancelled "due to unforeseen circum-

stances."
