Heat Wave In America.

A fierce heat wave spread over the Northern States of America last week. The death roll in Chicago numbered 40. Thou-sands of people slept out on the shores of the lakes and in open spaces. In New York the heat wave was most intense, and many people were driven insane. Eleven deaths have occurred at Detroit.
