"Better Farming" Train. The "Better Farming" train— or as the Department of Agricul-ture so aptly names it, an "Agri-culural college on wheels" —will make a tour of the North-Eastern district on Monday next, the 17th inst. The train will arrive at Euroa at 9.5 a.m., and will re-main until 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 18th, when it will leave for Dev-enish, arriving at 9.55 a.m. ??? staying there until 8.40 a.m. on Wednesday, 19th, it will proceed to Yarrawonga, arriving at a.m., and leaving again on Thurs-day morning at ??????? will reach Benalla at 10.30 a.m., and will be open for inspection during Thursday, and the evening up to 10 o'clock, proceeding on Friday morning to Springhurst. The train will be equipped with agricultural, dairying, selected live stock, and other exhibits, and will be accompanied by ex-pert lecturers and demonstrators. It will also cater for the rural wife and mother and her domestic affairs by the provision of a do-mestic economy section, and of the services of skilled demon-strators in cooking, domestic hygiene, and child welfare, etc. Prior to the visit of the train, the senior dairy inspector, Mr W. Yuille, visited Benalla last weak and gave details of the visit. The train consists of three trucks for pedigreed stock, a pig truck, a fodder truck and electric light-ing plant, one for farm utensils dairy utensils, and wool and honey exhibits. They will also carry stock, disease specimens, stock food, fruit and potato ex-hibIts, noxious weeds, grasses, lucerne, wheat and manure tests, besides a special, truck for poultry. Ladies will also be catered for by a lecture car and baby welfare demonstrations and domestic economy. Everything pertaining to the welfare of the farmer will be catered for and everyone in-terested should not fail to visit this "agricultural college on wheels."
