SHEARING AT AUSTIN DOWNS.

The cut out at Austin Downs Station took place on August 2nd. During the run, which occupied three weeks, 16,081 sheep were clipped for 377 bales of wooL The team, one of Gosdens and HcGinnity's, comprising eight shearers, maintained an average of 8O per man through the run. A second clip will take place later, when all stragglers and lambs will be put over the board.
