PASTORAL NOTES.

The Wool Industry. — Cue railway station was a scene of busy activity last week end, and on Monday morning two camel-waggon teams of wool from Milly Milly ; two from Berringarra, and 14 horse drays from Poplar Downs, Taincrow and Cogla Downs were unloaded into trucks awaiting. On Monday a

rake of 11 trucks from Cue, totalling 270 bales; two from Nannine and three from Meekatharra, making a total of 16 trucks, containing 421 bales, were despatched by the mid-day train. Binthalya Station in the North- West, has changed hands, the purchaser beins Mr. A. W. Walker, of Sydney, at a satisfactory figure. „ . By Wednesday morning's train at CuS, 30 rams arrived from Northam for Jfileura Station. A portion of the rams a£- from Mr. Walsh's P™PertvQne?!.r Northam, and some f™*1™™80™ Wales. A consignment of 4UU ewes for this station is also coming forward. The second run of this season 's shearing at Messrs. Beaton and Broad s Cogla Downs Station, was completed on Wednesday for 97 bales. The whole has resulted in a very satisfactory clip, some 10.300 sheep and lambs being shorn for 173 bales of wool.
