CONTINUED SEVERITY. LONDON, August 13.

The excessive heat which has recently been experienced in America, continues. In Chicago over 70 deaths have occurred, and many horses have died in the streets. In New York there are over 25,000 persons sleeping under the immediate supervision of the doctors.
