THE WEST PERTH CRICKET CLUB.

The annual meeting of the West Perth Cricket Club was held on Thursday evening last, there being a large attendance. Mr. R. H. Barrett presided. The Secretary

read the report and balance sheet for the yast year, which showed the club to have won the Premiership last year, having played nine matches winning eight and losing only one. Prizes were won by J. Thompson for the highest batting average, with 45-E. Bishop won the bowling average witk the fine record of 7 runs per wicket. W, V. DuSy was awarded the prize for tbfi best all-round player, and J. R. Davis and W. Nankervis received prizes for deserving play. The balance-sheet showed the Club to have a slight debit balance. The election of office-bearers took placf with the following result :— Patron Mr. F. C. Monger, M.L.A. ; president R. H. Barrett, vice-presidents, several gentleman nominated; the election of captain ancp vice-captain postponed until the first match J W. V. Duffy re-elected secretary ; general committee : E. C. Prendefga6t, C. Bishop and W. Nankervis, and match committee, H. Wilson E. C. Prendergast, and W. V, Duffy ; E. L. Wilson, and G. S. Cranstone were elected delegates to the Association. Fiften new members were elected and the club promises to have a successful season, The usual votes of thanks brought tb( meeting to a close.
