C.G. Football League. CTIVITY among the clubs of the Central Football League Is being stimulated by the approach of the oped ing, of the 1951 Season about mid-April. Morwell is expected to announce soon the date of its annual meeting, when of ficers and delegates are appointed to manage the nafairs of the club for the next twelve months. Most of the clubs have either appointed coaches or have the matter in hand, and the position at the moment appears to be: Morwell: Bill Welsh, replacing Jack Spriggs, who has left the district. Yallourn: Reg. Baker, formerly non playing coach of Leongatha and Mor well, to be non-playing coach. Traralgon: Bob Bradley, an Essendon player, is expected to get the appoint ment of playing coach, vice Ken. Boots. Leongatha: "Tich" Edwards, of Fitzroy, has received the appointment as playing coach at a reported salary of £15 per week. I I?irboo North: Ivan McKay has resign ed to take a similar appointment at Dunkeld; successor not yet appointed. Korumburra: O'Leary re-appointed for his second term. Trcfalgar, Moe and Yarragon: No re ports to hand, but probable that coaches of last year, Swenson. Van-derbist and Handley, will carry on.
