Scurvy in the Gums!
Among the -various ^disorders _ of the mouth there is nene more -destructive than
Scurvy, which on first entering the gums, causes them to bleed on ihe most trifling occasions, and produces the most offensive and frequency putrid breath. A «oft substance invariably accumulates around the
necks of the teeth, penetrates into the j gums, which gradually waste away, and the teeth then become loose, - and drop ont whole from their sockets ; and it is well known that the loss, of teeth axises more from this cause than any other î in short, scurvy in die gums effects individuals
