An Agricultural Film The merits of mechanised, farming are highlighted in a new Autralian 'agricultural film, "Harvest Gold." soon to be released by. Caltex Oil (Australia) Limited.A A private screening held the interest for over an hour of a large audieiice which included the Premier of NSW. (Mr. McKell) and prominent Cabinet Ministers. As an example of the high standard that can be reached in Australian fil rmproduction, "Harvest Gold" is recommended to every progressive farmer, when it goes on tour. It is highly entertaining. It leads the audience through a series of scenes that describe every aspect of mechanical farming from the clearing of the land to the harvesting of several kinds of crop. The cast is well chosen and directed. Joe Valli as the irascible and die-hard president of the local Shire Council and Hary Abdy as the exponent of modern methods, give memorable and convincing performances and are ably supported by Tal Ordell, Bruce Beeby, Grace Lappin, Zoe Holland, Clifton Penny and many others.
