Blessing the Fleet.. The weather at Port Fairy was rough on Sunday, but the ceremony of the blessing of the fishing fleet was carried out as arranged. There was a big crowd present from all parts of the district. The wharf at the Moyne was gaily decorated, and more than fifty boats were anchored in the river. The service was con-] ducted by the Rev. J. P. Blenner-Hasset, vicar of St. John's Church of England, Port Fairy, in the absence of the Bishop of Ballarat, through ill-ness,.
