ACCIDENT. A young lad named F. Lovell met with a painful accident on Tuesday night. He, with a number of compan-ions, was vaulting over the horse posts in front of the Post office, when he became caught in the thigh by the iron hook, which made a nasty wound. Dr Docker was summoned, and found it necessary to insert six stitches in the wound. ___________________ You wrap up your head in red flannel, You snuffle and snort on your bed, You plaster each pane and each panel, In dread of a draught that is dead.
