The Will of the late Mr. Franis Henty. Probate was in the Equity Court yesterday, on the application of Mr. Coldham. granted by Mr. Justice Hedges in the will of the late Francis Henty, of Merino Downs, Normanby, and of Studley Park, Kew. The will is dated 22nd December, 18S8, and the deceased died on 15th January last, and the real estate is set down as £156,640, and the personal estate at £157,000, in all £313,640. IHe gives to his daughter Louisa the dwell. ing house and surrounding land at Studley Park, and to his daughter Caroline all his real estate in the town of Portland, and the furniture and efFects in the residence called Claremont. Each of his nephews, George Edward and Walter, sons of his late brother Stephen George, he leaves £250, and to his niece, Annie Maria Bree, the wife of Robert S. Bree, he leaves £1000. The trustees are directed to invest the sums of £3000, £5000, and £900, the income of the first sum to be devoted to his three nieces, the children of his deceased brother, the income of the second amount to be given to Fanny Lawrance. of Launceston, widow, and John Eflingham Lawrence, late of Effingham, Tasmania, in trust for their nine children in equal shares; and the income of the last sum to be for the three sons of his nephew, Rlichard IHenty, in equal shares. IHe bequeaths to Henry Percy Henty, one of the sons of his nephew, Henry, £500 ; to Charles, £500; and to all the sons of his nephew, £500. The trustees are directed as soon as convenient to wind up the business of James Henty and Co., and to liqid'lato and pay all the debts and liabilities. To his nephew, Henry Henty, he bequeaths the goodwill of, and all his interest in the said business, exclusive of the stock. All the residue of his real and personal estate, he bequeaths to his trustees on trust, and he provides that the trustees may carry on the Merino Down station for farming business, or wind up or deal with it. The residue of his real and personal estate, he bequeaths on trust to his daughters Louisa, Caroline, and Alice Hindson, wife of John Hindson, Shrub. lands, sharebroker, in equal ahars.
