A meeting of the Melbourne and Suburban Fire Brigades' Association waa held on Thura (lay night at the 'telegraph Hotel, Little Bourke street, for the purpose ot considering the suggestions agreed to by u joint committee of the Metropolitan nnd the Melbourne und Suburban 1 ire Brigades' associations, winch suggestions were endorsed on Widnesday night at the annual meeting of the Metro- politan Tire Brigades'Association.
