POLICE OFFICE,
Sydney March 14, 1807. Absconded from the Employ of Government, Thomas Miller, some time a Labourer
in the Dock yard, and James McGlade, lately capitally convicted. All persons are cautioned
against harbouring or employing them on pain of prosecution, but to aid and assist in appre-hending the said Absentees.

NOTICE.—I hereby caution the Public not to pay over to William Evans any Mo-ney payable to me as Provost Marshal, having discharged him from my Employ.

WANTED, a steady active Man, capable of performing the duty of Deputy Provost Marshal, his character for sobriety and hones-ty must bear the strictest scrutiny, and when approved of security adequate to the Trust re-posed in him and the confidence necessary in such a situation shall be given. Applications personally or by letter directed to me, shall be immediately attended to. William Gore, Provost Marshal.
N. B. I particularly request and recom-mend for their own security, that all persons
who have paid any sum or sums or money into
the hands of William Evans, my late Bailiff, in his official capacity must forthwith transmit to me their statements of monies so paid and upon what and whose account. William Gore, Provost Marshal.
ALL persons to whom Edward Wills stands
indebted are hereby requested to present their Accounts for liquidation within 14 days
from the present period ; and all those indebted
to him are requested to settle their accounts within the term above specified. As all who
fail herein will be sued, without any exception whatsoever.
EMPTY CASKS.— Any person or persons ha-ving such to dispose of are requested to make the same known to Thomas Reibie, who will purchase any quantity at a liberal price. Also wanted, a few Muskets for the use of a colonial vessel. Apply as above.
All claims or demands upon Mrs Ann
Kennedy, of the Back Row, East Sydney, are requested to be presented to her without delay, as she intends leaving the colony by an early opportunity : And all persons indebted
to her are at the same time required to come to an immediate settlement; otherwise legal measures for enforcing payment will be re-
sorted to without further notice.
Now on Sale at the house of John Drivers Chapel Row, the following Goods lately imported, at reasonable prices, viz. fine dark chintzes, plain cotton stockings and worked clock ditto fine and coarse, good broadcloth,
ladies' fancy silk handkerchiefs, black Barcelona
ditto ; muslin & bundle handkerchiefs, strip'd, plain, and flowered muslin dimity, persians, black lace, silk trimming, ornamental braid, combs, ear rings, wadded bonnets black ditto, black net tipets, artificial flower, a fine assort-
ment of ladies' combs, castors and stands, salts,
plated table and teaspoons, elegant lockets, large and small gilt and plated buttons, laven-der water, pomatum, men's hats, fine shoes, soap, sugar, pins, needles, ladies' and children's straw and Leghorn bonnets from 10 to 15s. each, of the newest fashion imported in the ship Dart, sowing silk of all colours, small waiters, and womens and children's shoes.
ALL claims or demands on W. Baker, No. 49, Chapel Row, are to be presented im-mediately ; and persons indebted try him are requested to liquidate their accounts, in failure whereof coercive measures will be had recourse
to without further notice.
NEW SOUTH WALES CORPS. The Pay Notes issued by the Paymaster will be consolidated in Cash or Bills at Major
Johnston's Barracks, Sydney, on Monday the 30th of March, agreeable to the printed Notice of the 28th of September, 1806.
