SOCIAL NOTES.

A pretty wedding was celebrated on Boxing Day at 7 o'clock at Oberon Villa, Iluka) when Father Walsh united in matrimony Kate Rush, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rush, of Iluka, and Henry Parkes, second youngest son of tho late Sir Henry Parkes. Tlie bride, who was given away by her brother William, was attired in white crepe do chene, overdress of shadow lace, with cus-tomary wreath and veil, and carried a bouquet. Miss Annie Rush (sister of the bride) neted ns bridesmaid, and wore cream crepe dc ellene, hat to match. Mr. M. Rush was best man. The bridegroom's present to thc bride was a gold bangle,- the bridesmaid's present being a gold drop pendant. After breakfast the couple left for the Blue Mountains, the bride's travelling dress being navy crepe de chene, black hat with ostrich plumes.
