arc, perhaps, tho best points, ubonther; they arc extra-ordinarily good. Sho is very deep in htr brisket, and measures 5ft 4in in girth. Her fore-hand is particularly neat; ber head being beautifully set un a tapering neck, .with a Ano sloping shoulder. , lier appearance in walk-

ing gives ono an idea of vulgarity, owing to ber fumy little ragged bit of a tail, and a rather slovenly gait ¡ but "her hocks are capital, and the moment she is in her quick paces thc idea Is turned into admiration. She in ono of tho finest goers over seen; she has a remarkably fine temper, and is so light-hearted that if she misses a day's wuik she is flt to jump ,;ut of her skin the next morning.

Blink Binny was bred by her present owner and ^trainer, Mr W. I'Anson, of Spring Cottage, Malton, Yorkshire. She ¡9 by Melbourne out of Queen Mary by Gladiator, her dam.by Plenipotentiary out of Myrrha by Whalobono; and is own s!st,.'r to Blooming Heather, who ran «ccoiid fur the Oaks in 1855.

Sho first .appeared in public at the York Spring Meeting, where on tho 22nd of April sho was third to Magnifier and Nougat, who ran a dead heat for the Zetland Stakes, half a milo. On the 6th of May she was beaten by Lambourn in the Mostyn Stakes at Chester, three quarters of a mile; an objection was made against the Mist two in this race by Mr I'An-son for crossing, but it wa« overruled. On thc 14 th of May she achieved her maiden victory by winning tho Sapling Stakes at Manchester. On the 4th of J une ¡-lie won the Bishop Burton Stales at Beverley, and thc Tyro Stakes nt Newcastle on the 2-Rb; on the 11th of Jn:y she won the Grunt lancashire Produce .Stakes ot Liverpool; and on the31st tile Bentinck Memorial Stakes at Goodwood. On Wednesday, at York August Meet-ing, she was beaten by Lady Hawthorn in tho Convivial Stakes, but redeemed ber lost laurels on Friday by de feating Skirmisher, M.B, and fosr others, for tho Giroeraek. She nho won the Filly Stakes at Doncaster on tho Ißth September, »nd a'sweepstakes of 10 sovs each on the Thursday nt the same meeting, beating Adamas and Skirmisher, to each of whom ¡-he ga vt-libs. She only appeared >nce this year before going to Epsom, and was defeated for the One Thousand Guineas Stnkoa at Newmarket on the 30th of April, by Imperieuse. On Wednesday. May 27tb, she won tho DBIIBY, and on the following Friday wun the OAKS ; tt feat heretofore accom-plished once, and once only-by Sir C. Buubury's Eleanor in 1801. Her yearling half brother, Balnamoon, is not engaged in either Derby or St Leger.- The Field.
