MRS. CRAWFORD VAUGHAN, The wife of tbe Leader of the Opposi-tion in the House of Assembly, is a daugh-ter of the late Mr. Thomas Goode of Canowie Station, and a sister of Mr. Clar-ence Goode, M.P. She is one of the most active women workers in Labour politics, and has been closely associated with the movement in South Australia both as an organiser and speaker. Indeed, her ac-tivities rather overtaxed her strength, and for the last two years she has been compelled to do very little public work. She has published two books. 'The Childhood of Helen'' and 'Days That Speak.'
