AMANA WAS NOT ON FIRE IN AIR?

Melbourne, Sat.: Because they found only one fire ex-tinguisher had been dis-charged - and believe this was probably discharged in the crash and subsequent fire - experts now consider that fire did not break out on the Amana before it crashed last Monday night.

It is expected that investi-gators will submit their first report to the Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr. White, and Director-General, Cap-tain E. C. Johnston, next

week.

Any reports made to the present have been unofficial.
