To Location

A Sydney girl made history when, owing to the fact that she was re-quired immediately for a scene in an Australian picture, she flew from Tamworth (N.S.W.) to Goonoo Goonoo station. The girl was Cinesound's star, Jocelyn Howarth, who plays the title role

in "The Squatter's Daughter." .

It is the first time in the history of Australian motion pictures that an aeroplane has been used to hurry an actress across great Australian dis-tances to appear In a scene. The reaeon why the plane was used in this case is that about 20 technicians, cameramen, and players were held up owing to Miss Howarth having been delayed in getting to location, and, as it would trike several hours for the star to get there by car, the plane was chartered in Tamworth and flew to Goonoo Goonoo in a very short time.
