SUCCESSFUL ROVER

T. Waye in Form for Port

There are few players in better form than T. Waye, the 19-year-old Port rover. In fact, his form is superior to that of his colleague. J.

Quinn, who has represented the State in each of the interstate games played this year. Waye is a fine stamp of player, and has his share of dash. His pace enables him to creditably fill a vacancy at centre wing if the occasion arises.

Although this is his first season in league football, Waye has crammed a good deal of junior football into his youth. Born at Willunga, he first played there. Next he was playing at Renmark. Com ing to the Port Adelaide district a few years ago, Waye played for three seasons in the Port Adelaide Church Association. In addition to his football prowess Waye has also achieved fame as a cricketer, being a member of 'the Port team in district cricket.
